Alla scoperta di Singapore
Se iniziassi dicendovi che Singapore ha più di 5 milioni di persone in soli 719 Km2
pensereste alla citta’ del “caos”. Invece, vige l’assoluto rispetto delle leggi: si possono prendere multe per buttare carta, gomme da masticare o mozziconi a terra. Ma non temete non sarà il pavimento di Singapore a suscitare la vostra attenzione. Siamo stati a Singapore per quattro giorni e abbiamo soggiornato al Marina Bay Sands: tre grattacieli enormi di quasi 60 piani con una nave di 12.400 metri quadrati appoggiata sopra. Molti di voi conosceranno questo albergo per l’ Infinity edge pool: la piscina che si affaccia su Singapore.Per poter entrare devi essere cliente dell’hotel, ma avendo così tante camere spesso alcune sono in super offerta e per un prezzo accettabile potrete dormire qui e fare un bagno con vista.Inoltre nel prezzo della camera e’ incluso la visita dello Skypark del Marina Bay Sands, dove potrai ammirare un panorama mozzafiato della citta’.
Dall’ hotel si puo’ accedere alla stazione metro, al Casino e al Mall (uno dei più grandi e lussuosi centri commerciali, se sei un amante dello shopping questa tappa è d’obbligo).
Il Mall è stupendo, ma la parte migliore e’ la Gondola al piano terra. Penserai di essere a Venezia. Per una modica cifra di $10 (se soggiornate al Marina Bay Sands c’e’ lo sconto), potrete salire sulla gondola per andare a fare una romantica passeggiata di 10 minuti nel piccolo fiume artificiale del centro commerciale.
In base alla camera che prenoterete cambieranno le “Viste”, tra queste potreste scegliere i famosi Gardens by the Bay, due enormi serre che ospitano specie di alberi e fiori provenienti da diverse zone climatiche che riescono a convivere grazie a un’efficiente sistema di climatizzazione.
Insieme all’ingresso per i Gardens by the Bay potrete acquistare anche quello per i suggestivi alberi: i Supertrees Grove che sembrano usciti dal film Avatar. Altrimenti salite al bar/ristorante per rifocillarvi e ammirare i Giardini dall’alto. Da qui noterete la Singapore Flyer, una delle ruote panoramiche più grandi del mondo, alta 165 metri (pensate che il London Eye ne misura 30). Davanti al Marina Bay Sands, non perdetevi lo spettacolo “Wonder Full Light and Water Show”, una proiezione di filmati su una cortina d’acqua mentre musica e fuochi artificiali animano lo scenario ( ogni sera alle 20.00 e alle 21.30,la domenica anche alle 23.00) Dedicate del tempo alla vista dello Zoo di Singapore, uno dei più belli al mondo e in cui gli animali sono in stato di semilibertà. Con il Night Safari potrete ammirare gli animali di notte, al chiarore della luna, a bordo di tram speciali. Se amate gli animali una tappa obbligata è anche l’Acquario che si trova nel complesso di Sentosa Park. La principale attrazione è l’enorme vasca Open Ocean dove potete sedervi su poltrone ed ammirare gigantesche razze che nuotano in mezzo a branchi di migliaia di piccoli pesci. L’Isola di Sentosa è una combinazione di parco di divertimenti, attrazioni e costruzioni artificiali che si mischiano in un ambiente naturale fatto di spiagge e giungla tropicale. Qui troverete gli UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, un parco a tema inspirato a cinema e tv. Noi siamo andati durante la settimana quindi le file per le giostre erano abbastanza veloci, ci siamo divertiti tanto.

Discovering Singapore
If I started by telling you that Singapore has more than 5 million people in just 719 Km2 you would think of the city of the "chaos". Instead, there is absolute respect for the laws: you can take fines to throw paper, chewing gum or stubs on the ground. But do not be afraid it will not be the Singapore floor to arouse your attention. We stayed in Singapore for four days and stayed at Marina Bay Sands: three huge skyscrapers of almost 60 floors with a 12,400 square foot ship leaning over. Many of you will know this hotel for the Infinity edge pool: the pool overlooking Singapore. To be able to enter you have to be a hotel customer, but having so many rooms often some are in super offer and for an acceptable price you can sleep here and take a bath with a view. Also included in the price of the room is a visit to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark, where you can admire a breathtaking view of the city.
From the hotel you can access the metro station, the Casino and the Mall (one of the biggest and most luxurious shopping centers, if you are a lover of shopping this stop is a must).
The Mall is gorgeous, but the best part is the Gondola on the ground floor. You will think you are in Venice. For a modest $ 10 (if you stay at the Marina Bay Sands there is a discount), you can hop on the gondola to go for a romantic 10-minute walk in the small artificial river of the shopping center.
Depending on the room you are booking, the "Views" will change, among these you can choose the famous Gardens by the Bay, two huge greenhouses that host species of trees and flowers from different climatic zones that can live together thanks to an efficient air-conditioning system .
Together with the entrance to the Gardens by the Bay you can also buy the one for the picturesque trees: the Supertrees Grove that seem to come out of the movie Avatar. Otherwise climb to the bar / restaurant to refresh and admire the gardens from above. From here you will see the Singapore Flyer, one of the world's largest panoramic wheels, 165 meters high (think that the London Eye is 30 meters). In front of the Marina Bay Sands, do not miss the show "Wonder Full Light and Water Show", a film screening on a curtain of water while music and fireworks animate the scenery (every evening at 20.00 and 21.30, on Sundays also at 11.00 pm) Take time to view the Singapore Zoo, one of the most beautiful in the world and where the animals are in a state of semi-liberty. With the Night Safari you can see animals at night, in the moonlight, on board special trams. If you love animals, a must is also the Aquarium located in the Sentosa Park complex. The main attraction is the huge Open Ocean pool where you can sit on armchairs and admire gigantic races that swim in the midst of packs of thousands of small fish. Sentosa Island is a combination of amusement park, attractions and artificial constructions that blend into a natural environment of beaches and tropical jungle. Here you will find the UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, a theme park inspired by cinema and TV. We went during the week so the rows for the rides were quite fast, we had so much fun.
